I have to decide - buy or no by Tuesday morning... once more, any regrets?

This is it! I've been offered the house. My financial person and some family think I'm nuts, but I'm 99% sure that I will buy based only on what I've read, researched and seen online, especially in this forum. I've been in that area as recently as April (Tulum) and loved Akumal last July.

Is there anything anyone might share with me regarding making this decision and wiring the funds ASAP?

My husband and I live near Richmond, VA (south of the Washington, DC area). I've been to Mexico 6 times now and loved the people and the places I've been, including Cozumel. We scuba dive, snorkel, camp, hike, kayak, have grown children and littled grandchildren. My kids are excited to hear I might buy a place as they loved Mexico as well.
I only have to transfer funds and wire them.

I'm a professional and my husband, Greg, is in retail gear and clothing (backpacking, kayaking, etc.) sales.

I would love to hear ANY REGRETS or suggestions now.

We are some of the old timers...we bought our house almost three years ago and it is one of the best decisions we ever made. We love our house! We love the area and have never run out of things to do. Great location and cute houses. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me. Thank you kindly Jeri. I cannot think of any reason why I shouldn't buy, with the exception that I may not be able to spend the time there that I want to in the first year or so or fix it up the way I want soon enough. Those things should take care of themselves in time as I hope to retire within the next five years or so.

If I can get the basics installed - for us hot water heater, refrigerator, stove, and air conditioning units, then I can rough regarding furnishings for a bit. We do backpack and sleep on the ground and in our camp hammocks after all!

I love that area and cannot imagine letting this go!

Mary and I spent the weekend on the boat, camping on islands, etc.

Out favorite topic was 'I can hardly wait to go back to our home in Mexico!'

Of any decison I have ever made, this is one of the best. No regrets whatsoever.

Our house is done and we have stayed in it twice. Will be back in October for the BG Party (oooops, I mean the HOA)

I've signed the contract and am working on the wire transfer now. My financial advisor is excited for me - who would've thought that! I guess it's because we're both interested in living for today and having some fun!

Howdy neighbor, nice to meet you and thank you! Yes, they sent me a photo of what we think is my casa from their roof and yes I have plans to come down with husband Greg October 16-29.
