| I plan to talk to someone about patio work when I'm down there. We plan to build a wall surrounding our back patio. My question is: if all my neighbors do the same thing, what do we do about drainage when it rains? I don't want my house flooded. | |

| My suggestion redarding the patio is to use compacted gravel and sand with pavers. Not only does the water have a place to go but unlike concrete and tile it can be altered if you decide you want to make changes. Bob the builder in manzana 209 can do it for you. Glenn | |

| How would one get ahold of Bob the builder in manzana 209? I'll be down for a few days in may and want to talk to people about doing some work on mi casa, but also want to get competitive bids (not being familiar with the system down there). | |

| I'm going to try posting a picture of what I want to do to the roof. Please let me know if this can be done (with all the pipes and stuff)? | |

This is a very good point actually. I'm wondering if we shouldn't consult a landscaper on drainage issues. I am interested in installing drains in the front and back couryard patios and I am imagining a french drain of sorts as well. There is a rainy season right? Also I'm interested in rainwater catchment to supplement the tinaka. Anyone with any info on this? | |
